Katherine Aleman is a working mother who has spent her life serving others, as a teacher, Peace Corps Volunteer and current Norco Council Member.
An experienced leader, Katherine has delivered results for Norco residents, investing millions into repairing roads and infrastructure, increasing public safety services in response to resident needs and revising city code to minimize the impact of industrial buildings on our rural lifestyle.
As a Norco City Council Member Katherine has successfully:
- Supported grants for small businesses;
- Re-opened Norconian Drive after years of neglect and closure;
- Secured land for Veterans Affordable Housing;
- Championed the protection and preservation of our open spaces.
The daughter of a Marine and a teacher, and a lifelong resident of the Inland Empire, Katherine is a tireless advocate for our residents, our lifestyle, and our community’s best interests in order to maintain Norco’s motto, “City living in a rural atmosphere.”

- Collaborated with fellow council members to preserve Norco’s rural charm by revising warehouse regulations.
